OUR VISION
At Refuge and Hope, we strive to support refugees in such a way that they can live lives of hope and stability.

Our goal is to take refugees from surviving to thriving; we do this by incorporating these three visions in each of our programs.
Refuge and Hope is a center of diversity and unity, where refugees from multiple nationalities, tribes, and languages are part of one big family. Our campus is a safe environment where students can heal, find community in one another, make friends, and take advantage of counseling and spiritual support programs designed to help them reconcile their pasts so they can rebuild their futures.
We enable refugees to become self-sufficient through our Practical Education Program, skills training and professional development programs. The objective of these programs is to ensure our students are eligible for well-paying jobs or equipped to start businesses of their own. Our ultimate goal is to enable all of our students to realize financial independence and social empowerment.
Through our leadership and personal development programs, we are preparing generations of refugees to be leaders and world changers here in Uganda and back in their countries of origin.
Our youth leadership program, Spiritual Training for Youth in Leadership & Excellence (SMART), combines Biblical teachings with personal development and leadership training to prepare youth for a lifetime of success and self-sufficiency.
